Entrance: Write what your wrestler and his opponent do as they come to the ring only, but be very detailed with this. Explain in specifics what each person does as they make their way to the ring down the ramp and what happens in the ring. The better the detail, the more acute the reader may be able to visualize exactly what is going on as opposed to something vague.

Entertainment: Speaks for itself really; you need to be able to keep the reader’s attention throughout the match. The better your entertainment, the better chance the reader has of keeping his attention on the match and the story you are trying to portray.

Realism: Be realistic. Do not hit move after move and not show any exhaustion, pain, or any real physical or even mental distress being put on the wrestlers in the match. Try to describe as much as you can with how well someone hits a move, how the other person reacts to being hit with the move. Also, try to keep the moveset realistically fit the wrestlers. Like someone with an Undertaker pic base won’t be hitting a load of high flying moves for instance, that person will be leaning, or at least SHOULD, be leaning towards ground attacks that work in the favor of a big person. If you write moves that normally wouldn’t happen because of their size, that move won’t count and you will be penalized. Lastly, this counts towards the Gimmick factor, many people throw up a gimmick for a wrestler that is nothing like what they have on their profile. Portray the opponents gimmick to its best abilities, don't create an entirely new persona just to fit your liking. If you have none or very little information about your gimmick, we highly advise you put information up there, as we will not penalize someone in this case because they have no choice, but this won't work in your favor.

Move Variety: Be original, bring out moves we don’t see as often but don’t overdo it. Many matches consist of the same old tired moves so try to make your matches a little different. This category amounts to how many different interesting moves you hit but also how well they were done, so it’s a bit of innovative style added to the category.

Conclusion: Now we’re not saying write pages of finish. We want the opposite. Not a lot happens after every match, so don’t over complicate things. All we want is a very nice match finish, which means the wrestling, and an interesting after match which should be no more than a page or so at the most because as I said, not much happens after a match. So the best thing you can do here is really put on an interesting match finish, something cool before the pin and surprising.
