A Pittsburgh judge Wednesday ordered 44-year-old Subhash Modhwadia to
be tried on charges including aggravated assault and criminal mischief
for the June 15 altercation with Carla Snyder.
Investigators say Modhwadia was riding a scooter when he nearly
collided with the sport-utility vehicle being driven by Carla Snyder.
Modhwadia allegedly followed her into a parking lot and kicked the
vehicle, then swung at the woman.
Authorities say an off-duty police officer and a passer-by subdued Modhwadia until police arrived.
Pittsburgh police say Chris Snyder was in the passenger seat unable to help his wife because of recent back surgery.
Modhwadia is being held on $25,000 bail.
